A Story Long Overdue

In celebration of Juneteenth, join Chefs Martin Draluck and Dominick Lee for an immersive dining experience inspired by the lives and culinary legacy of James Hemings and Hercules Posey.

James Hemings, Thomas Jefferson's enslaved chef, and Hercules Posey, George Washington's celebrated enslaved chef, helped shape the foundations of American cuisine, yet their stories are often overlooked.
